EPIC Spring 2025 Registration (for individuals with special needs)

We are thrilled to announce that the AYSO EPIC Program has come to the Mountain’s Edge Community in Las Vegas, Nevada.

AYSO Region 1315: Mountain's Edge-Enterprise has created an EPIC Division for players ages 6 and older with a disablity where the player has physical or intellectual challenges that prevents them from fully participating in a traditional soccer program.

This is not your "typical" soccer program. It will primarily focus on having fun while developing the basic fundamental skills needed in a soccer program.

This program will offer athletes with disabilities the additional support they need to fully participate in a quality soccer experience. The EPIC program is designed to remind our community that AYSO is a place that everyone can play, no matter your ability. It is an all inclusive program and will be tailored to the needs of the players.

We want your child to have fun while learning to play soccer and we want YOU to be part of the experience! Our region is a 100% volunteer organization. You will be required to help your child and stay for the entire time your child is participating.

Spring 2025 Registration

Our Spring 2025 Core Soccer Program is designed to be a fun learning experience for players of all ages and skill levels. We want your child to understand and enjoy soccer and we want YOU to be part of the experience! Our region is a 100% volunteer organization. Each season we do REQUIRE that at least one parent or relative volunteer in some capacity.

Gender-specific: Our goal is to have gender specific divisions for U8, U10 and U12 - ie. U10 Boys Division & U10 Girls Division. Please register according to your child's gender. If we do not have enough players per gender then we will combine genders into one division - i.e. U12 Co-ed Division.

Buddy Requests: In order to have fair teams we will NOT be accepting buddy or coach requests. However, if you are a Head Coach you can select an Assistant Coach and their child/children will be placed on your team.

Practices: Practices are at the discretion of the Head Coach and are determined before the season begins. We CANNOT take requests for practice days or times. By registering, you are agreeing to bring your child to practices and games and communicate with the coach about absences. Practice day options are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at Mountain’s Edge Regional Park.

Birth Certificates: When registering your child, please upload their birth certificate right away. Moving forward your child will not be placed on a team until their birth certificate has been uploaded and verified by our registrar.

Price:
Playground/U6/U8 $120 per player
U10/U12/U14 $140 per player
EPIC $50 per player

Our Early Bird Special of $10 Off is applied to all registrations until December 7th, 2024.
A Late Fee of $25 is applied to all registrations from January 5th, 2025 through January 11th, 2025.

Included in the player fee: uniform (jersey, shorts, socks), photo mate (does not include shipping), player insurance, medal or trophy, region costs (fields and lights; team, field, referee equipment; volunteer appreciation)

Once divisions are full a waitlist will be available. When players are moved from the
waitlist to a team they will not incur a late fee.
*A membership fee of $25 is charged once per membership year that runs July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
* A transaction fee of $2.75 will also be charged.

Tentative Timeline:

Player Registration: November 9th to January 11th
Mandatory Player Evaluations:
U8/10:Thursday, January 9th
U12/14/15: Saturday, January 11th

Coach Meeting: Monday, January 20th
Meet the Coach Night: Thursday,January 23rd

Practices Begin the Week of January 27th

Games Begin Late February
Regular season completed beginning of May
Commissioner's Cup Invitational for U8 & U15 will finished by early May
Commissioner's Cup Invitational for U10 & U12 will finished by mid May

Programs

In order to have fair teams we will NOT be accepting buddy or coach requests. However, if you are a Head Coach you can select an Assistant Coach and their children will be placed on your team.

Practices are at the discretion of the Head Coach and are determined before the season begins. We CANNOT take requests for practice days or times. If you are signing up, you are agreeing to bring your child to practices and games and communicate with the coach any absences. Practice day options are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at Mountain’s Edge Regional Park.

When registering your child, please upload their birth certificate right away. Moving forward your child will not be placed on a team until their birth certificate has been uploaded and verified by our registrar.

The games for Playground, U6, and U8 will be Saturday mornings at Paiute Park. The games for U10 and U12 will be Friday nights at Mountain’s Edge Regional Park. The games for U15 will be held on Saturday mornings at Nathaniel Jones Park or Paiute Park.

All days, times, and locations are subject to change.

AYSO Playground: This program is for kids born in 2020 & 2021. AYSO Playground uses group activities, soccer themes and requires parent participation to develop the fundamental motor skills that prepare kids for all sports. This is not a typical "soccer" program and players will not play soccer games, instead they focus on all motor skills and have a fun time doing it. This is a co-ed program that runs 8 weeks and meets for one 45 minute session per week Saturday mornings at Paiute Park. If you child has played one season of Playground, they are eligible to move up to the U6 division. Contact our Registrar with questions - [email protected]

Core: Core is another name for AYSO’s standard soccer program. The Core program spans the U6 to U14 age divisions in our region and is coed or separated by gender if there is enough participation.

U6 division (Born 2019)
U8 division (Born 2017 & 2018) We hope to have enough players to separate U8 Boys & U8 Girls
U10 division (Born 2015 & 2016) We hope to have enough players to separate U10 Boys & U10 Girls
U12 division (Born 2013 & 2014) We hope to have enough players to separate U12 Boys & U12 Girls
U15 division (Born 2010, 2011 & 2012)We hope to have enough players to make 4 teams and play 11v11

Volunteer

AYSO Region 1315 is comprised entirely of volunteers. We encourage each parent to consider helping in some part of our program. Our region needs at least one person per family to volunteer in order to have a successful season. Prior experience is not required and we will provide the necessary training, equipment and uniforms (i.e. coaches, referees).

Volunteer positions include the following:
